Specialist Welfare Rights Advice

Salford Citizens Advice Bureau is able to provice specialist welfare rights advice under the governments Community Legal Services scheme. This enables us to provide advice and assistance on complex benefits matters to people who meet the Community Legal Services eligability criteria.

Our welfare rights specialist provide advice and assistance on:

• Benefit appeals
• Benefit Overpayment

Referrals to our specialist caseworkers are made via the local bureau where an adviser will do the eligability check and refer you as appropriate.

If you are not eligable for referral to our specialist advisers the generalist adviser you see in the bureau will still be able to provide basic information and assistance.
